Truer words have never been spoken. It’s only when you come back from the brink of destruction, rise from the ashes, pound on your chest and say “bring it”, do you ever really achieve greatness. This teaches you that you do not break, that you are unbreakable.
I live my life according to this philosophy. I am unbreakable and I welcome any challenge that has the audacity to attempt to break me, especially when comes to fitness. While being unbreakable, there are a few things I’m not. I’m not a professional athlete (although I so desperately wish I were), I am not a certified trainer (but have been trained by the best) and I am not a fitness instructor. What I am is an adrenaline junkie who is always in search of the workout that’s going to have me on the verge of vomiting. Unless I reach the edge each and every time, there’s no point.
Due to this perversion, I have tried all the “self-proclaimed” hardest workout in Los Angeles. Most have been extremely disappointing, having me roll my eyes, seething with contempt for this soft instructor who is completely wasting my time. But a few have actually been incredible, pushing me to that edge that I so long for, but rarely find. It is the purpose of his blog to inform you about the latter. The butt-kicking, fat-torching, body-drenching, “have no mercy “type workouts that weed out the weak and put you on the path of mission unbreakable.
P.S. I will also review a variety of workouts and give you the truth about their intensity. Further, from time to time, you will be informed of anything “amazing” related to fitness that I discover, i.e. balms, supplements, shoes, clothing or other products that make our crazy workouts more tolerable.
